Laine is an international knit and lifestyle magazine. 

In issue 29 (summer 2026), fifteen splendid knit patterns are featured, along with interesting articles from the world of fibers.

Laine 29, Damson, includes 15 splendid knitted garments perfect for the warmer seasons. 

The patterns are made using different techniques, from intricate cables and modern lace to warm brioche stitch and relaxing stockinette. The photos capture the spirit of long, lazy summer days in the garden. 

The photo shoot is inspired by the film The Hours, in particular by the effortless style of Clarissa Vaughan, played by Meryl Streep, and by the beauty of the English countryside, which forms the backdrop to one of the film’s storylines.

Designers featured in this issue: Pauline Fanguin, Joanna Filip, Saysha Greene, Kaori Katsurada, Marija Korać, Sarianna Lehtonen, Sara Markkula, Paula Narkiniemi, Sari Nordlund, Anne-Sophie Nørby Velling, Serena Qiu, Camille Romano and Lis Smith.

You will also meet Olga Fahim, the creator of Gotham Knits (@gotham.knits), who has become a pioneer of humorous knitting content online.
