Issue 2 of Let’s Crochet! features 17 crochet patterns made by talented designers from around the world. 

The patterns are lively and original, ranging from sweaters, tops and cardigans to bags and other accessories. 

The photographs highlight the fresh, fun and modern mood of the crochet pieces.

The designers featured in this issue are: Ana-Maria Babanica, Yessabett Bueno, Olga Buraya-Kefelian, Ana Diakova, Emma Ducher, Anna Erlandsson, Kirsten Joel, Sarianna Lehtonen, Julia Madill, Andrea Mares, Kare Peacock, Nikki Reynolds, Lisa Richardson, Monika Soltysik, Audrey Trecasse, Krysten Wilson and Jen Yard.

We also meet Canadian textile artist Alexandria Masse, known for her fun and imaginative crochet sculptures, as well as for her commitment to feminism and women’s reproductive rights. 

In our opinion piece, Melanie Falick, a lifelong knitting enthusiast, tells how she began using crochet as an adult, discovering not only a new creative medium, but also a new work rhythm.
