Erika Knight is a designer, author, and innovator.

Born in Great Britain, always passionate and in love with her own land, she supports indigenous fibers, the mills of her region, and ancient craftsmanship.

The collection created by Erika Knight focuses on producing yarns made with carefully selected fibers to ensure quality yarns suitable for making unique products.

In 2012, when she founded her brand, her main goals were to support British production where possible, promote natural and sustainable fibers, and celebrate both traditions and innovation.

The colors are inspired by the landscape and Erika's love for nature and ethical production at every stage of the process.

Wild Wool is a sustainable blend of wonderfully soft virgin wool and nettle. The wool comes from Corriedale sheep living in the Punta Arenas region of Chile. The yarn is spun in Italy.

Nettle has been used in fabrics for over 2000 years and is valued for its strength and durability. Only the long fiber found in the center of the stem is spun from this plant.
Nettle grows lush in rainy areas, does not require polluting substances or pesticides, making it particularly ecological and sustainable.

By blending it with high-quality wool, the special character of nettle fiber is enhanced, and the wool content gives it volume and structure. Thus, despite nettle fiber being quite solid, a wonderfully soft Aran strength yarn is created.

The irresistible color palette is inspired by the wild nature.

It is recommended to work with 4-5 mm needles or 4-5 mm crochet hook.
