Rasta in Spanish means "dreadlock," and it is also the term used to refer to a very thick rope, which closely resembles this wonderful slightly twisted single ply yarn, of magnum proportions!

Rasta, in pure Uruguayan merino wool incredibly soft, is available in a rich range of variegated colors and a rainbow of semi-solid bases.

Extremely soft, this yarn is the one to use when you want the maximum warmth (or the maximum speed in realization!).

Great for: fast knitting, textured stitches, hats, hoods, scarves, outerwear.

All Malabrigo yarns are hand-dyed: colors may vary slightly from one dye lot to another, as well as individual skeins within the same batch.

If you plan to make a single item with multiple skeins of the same color, it is always recommended to alternate between more skeins (just as if you were working in stripes) to make the work as uniform as possible.
