Silky Merino combines 50% silk and 50% merino in a single-ply DK yarn that is an absolute pleasure to knit with and a joy to wear.

The combination of fibers is soft, smooth, and suitable even for the most sensitive skin, as it doesn't itch at all.

The silk gives the yarn a bit more weight and drape compared to pure merino, along with a slight sheen, which is absolutely wonderful.

The different fibers take the dye slightly differently, adding further depth to the wide selection of semi-solid, variegated, and multi-colored hues available.

Great for: accessories, shawls, garments, colorwork, textured stitches, lace.

If you plan to make a single item using multiple skeins of the same color, it is always recommended to alternate between skeins (as if working in stripes) to make the finished piece as uniform as possible.
