Rosa's Caponcho by Emma Fassio:
the perfect accessory even in a summer version
During this spring, we started organizing circular knitting needle courses in our shop in Sovico.
In the first one, dedicated to beginners eager to learn this new technique, we approached knitting in the round thanks to a pattern by Emma Fassio, very simple but with great impact: Rosa’s Caponcho, which allowed us to clearly explain how to cast on, how to join in the round, and how to make some decreases and increases while knitting.
The participants made the garment (whose pattern is available for free download at this link) in the autumn-winter version, with rather thick wool yarns to be worked with 7.00 - 8.00 mm needles, such as Olympia by LanaGrossa, la Castellana by dLana and Viola by Noro.

But Rosa's Caponcho is truly an extremely versatile garment!
So we thought of suggesting you make it in a summer version, with 5.00 - 6.00 mm needles and 100% Linen by Katia Yarns, to which you can add a strand of 10 Shiny Shades for a "glam" effect perfect for evenings on the seafront.
You can find everything you need in store or on our website... and for advice on yarns and colors, don't hesitate to contact us!
